Interim Chief Financial Officer
Based out of the Dublin City Centre office, I am seeking a highly capable Interim CFO to lead a focused financial transformation over a 6-month term.
This pivotal role will require a seasoned finance executive who ideally has experience within the Recruitment Industry (Permanent and Temp) or at the least the services industry.
This position is required to deliver operational clarity, capability uplift, and structural coherence across financial systems and reporting.
A critical component of this mandate is to upskill the existing Finance Director while delivering immediate impact on financial governance and process alignment.
The company has recently been through significant change by implementing all new systems and processes across the front and back office functions, which is why a Senior head is required to support the Finance Director who is heavily entrenched in the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Key Objectives and Deliverables
1. Upskill and support the Finance Director through structured mentoring, capability development, and knowledge transfer – Supporting through this significant time of change.
2. Design and implement structured alignment between Management Accounts, Profit & Loss reporting, and statutory reporting cycles.
3. Develop and embed a streamlined accountancy framework across:

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable

7. Statutory Accounts
8. Internal and External Reporting
9. Establish consistency and traceability across reporting layers, ensuring data integrity and reporting clarity.
10. Drive process improvement and automation where appropriate, while ensuring compliance and audit-readiness.
11. Report regularly to the CEO and Board, providing strategic insights and progress updates.
Key Experience and Attributes
12. Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Transformation Leader
13. Demonstrated success in upskilling senior finance staff and building capability across teams.
14. Deep knowledge of financial systems integration and reporting infrastructure.
15. Comfortable operating in a hands-on, delivery-focused interim capacity.
16. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to support, challenge, and influence at all levels.
Desirable Background
17. Experience within the Recruitment Industry or Professional Services sector.
18. Exposure to ERP implementation or financial system enhancement projects – Ideally Access.
19. Track record of delivering measurable change within fixed-term mandates
