About this Sales Order Role
We are looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic professional to take on the position of Sales Order Administrator in our finance and administration team in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established food manufacturer that has clients across Ireland, Europe, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and process all sales orders received from various channels
* Take orders and enter them into the order system in a timely and accurate manner
* Handle email and phone communications in a busy environment
* Maintain and update sales and customer records
* Manage customer order schedules and prioritize tasks as needed
* Liaise with sales representatives regarding customer inquiries
* Invoice customers and resolve credit requests with the credit controller
* Verify data accuracy in orders and invoices
* Manage the reception function and ensure external visitors have access to the building
* Coordinate daily operations, including incoming/outgoing mail, delivery management, and meeting room organization
* Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, production, and logistics
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales order administration
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* A self-motivated and positive attitude with strong initiative
* Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office
