Automation Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of automation solutions to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
* Maintain and develop control systems to ensure operational stability and efficiency.
* Manage system servers, software and communications to guarantee seamless operations.
* Implement new projects and plant upgrades using control software programming.
* Conduct troubleshooting, loop tuning, commissioning and testing to identify areas for improvement.
* Oversight of software upgrades, patch management and data archiving processes to maintain optimal system performance.
Key Requirements
* Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, automation or a related technical discipline is required.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial automation is essential.
* Proficiency in PCS7, Step 7, Simatic Manager and Win CC is necessary.
* Strong understanding of PLC programming is crucial.
* Familiarity with Windows OS, networking, SQL and cybersecurity principles is desirable.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
