Piano Tutor Position
Part-Time | Weekdays & Saturdays Required

Pay: €24–€32/hour, plus performance-based bonuses

We are now inviting applications for a passionate and accomplished piano teacher to join our distinguished faculty in Rathgar.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to teach in a thriving, artistically rich environment. You will work with students of all ages and abilities, delivering high-quality one-on-one piano lessons both in-person and online. You'll also have the opportunity to take part in public performances, festivals, and professional development within a collegial and purpose-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide weekly individual piano lessons (30–60 minutes)
* Guide students in repertoire for exams, recitals, and competitions
* Lead occasional studio classes and group learning sessions
* Recruit and build a vibrant private studio within the Academy
Prepare students for:
* Internal concerts and recitals
* National and international competitions
* Grade and diploma exams (ABRSM, RIAM, and others)
* Participate in PAI's events and festivals as performer, mentor, or workshop presenter
* Contribute ideas and expertise through faculty meetings and Academy initiatives
Qualifications & Ideal Profile
* Bachelor or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Piano Performance or Pedagogy
* At least three years of teaching experience across a range of levels
* Proven record as a performer and teacher
* Experience with structured exam syllabi (e.g., ABRSM, RIAM)
* Strong communication skills and fluency in English
* Tech-savvy and comfortable teaching both in-person and online
* A spirit of creativity, reliability, and commitment to artistic growth
