Senior Speech Therapist Position
Our organization is currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Speech Therapist to work as a senior member of an interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region.
Job Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention. They will also offer clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication difficulties and develop personalized intervention plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.
* Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy sessions in various settings, including clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, and community settings.
Essential Criteria:
* Be registered or eligible for registration as a Speech Therapist by the relevant professional body.
* Have a minimum of 3 years' full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
* Possess excellent knowledge and skills in speech and language therapy, including assessment and intervention techniques.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
