COPE Galway seeks a Domestic Abuse Service Manager to join our team.

This role involves leading and managing the staff team, ensuring the delivery of services in accordance with the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the service and the organization.

Key responsibilities include managing the environment at Modh Eile House, leading the staff team in the delivery and development of the service, and overseeing the supervision, support, and further development of professional practice.
", "
The Domestic Abuse Service Manager will ensure that all relevant information is conveyed to staff at handover meetings, ensure adequate follow-up and consistency for those using the service, and maintain accurate records and reports.

They will also contribute to the development and promotion of a strong culture of health and safety within and across COPE Galway.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
", "
Applicants should have experience working with women who have experienced domestic abuse, excellent IT skills, and knowledge of Client Relationship Management systems.
", "
They should also be able to prepare reports, file notes, and correspondence to a high standard, and demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate people.
", "
A degree in Social Care or equivalent is required, along with demonstrable knowledge of current domestic abuse legislation and issues.
", "
Up-to-date knowledge of Children First and safeguarding policies is also essential.
