About the Role:
We're seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst with a strong background in Microsoft and Linux engineering to join a leading global financial services organization. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the IT Security department, helping design, build, and maintain a secure, enterprise-class hybrid-cloud infrastructure. You'll also contribute to the organization's Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and support investigations when required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory and DNS, including managing Group Policy and Active Directory Security solutions.
2. Implement and maintain Active Directory design, schema, OU structures, replication topologies, and DC backup/restore processes.
3. Support Security Architects in the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure cloud solutions aligned with best practices.
4. Build and configure cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on identity and access management and secure configuration.
5. Develop and apply security controls across multiple cloud providers.
6. Automate and script security processes to accelerate configuration audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
7. Keep cloud infrastructure up to date and proactively recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
8. Investigate and resolve security incidents, document findings, and implement preventive measures.
9. Collaborate across internal teams to strengthen cyber resilience and security awareness.
10. Maintain documentation and diagrams for systems, tools, and operational processes.
11. Follow enterprise change management procedures and ticketing processes.
12. Perform other related duties as required.
About You:
13. 3+ years' experience in enterprise-scale cloud security environments.
14. 5+ years' experience with both Linux and Windows environments.
15. Solid understanding of operating system security and hardening practices.
16. Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
17. Strong communication skills—both written (documentation, procedures) and verbal (team collaboration).
18. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
19. Comfortable managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
20. Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies (Docker, Ansible, Terraform).
21. Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security, or MCSE are highly desirable.
