Senior Software Engineer (.NET / C# / React)
Location: Cork (Hybrid)
Salary: €70,000 - €85,000+ DOE
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
An established technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team based in Cork.
You'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications, working across the full stack with a strong focus on .NET, C#, and React.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET / C#
3. Develop modern, responsive UIs using React
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
5. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction
6. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
7. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Tech Stack
8. Backend: .NET, C#, Core
9. Frontend: React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS
10. APIs: REST
11. Databases: SQL-based systems
12. Tools & Practices: Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum
What We're Looking For
13. Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
14. Solid experience building front-end applications with React
15. Experience working in a full stack capacity
16. Understanding of software design principles and best practices
17. Comfortable working in an Agile environment
18. Strong problem-solving and communication skills
