The Position
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Database Analyst and IT Support position for our internal IT department.
Key Responsibilities
The position will have 2 main area of responsibility. One related to general IT Support and the second to Database management.
IT Support
* Provide first point of IT Support contact for all Forvis Mazars staff across the network.
* Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to senior staff.
* Assist with the management of service desk tickets, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
* Provide technical assistance to project teams.
* Develop an understanding of Forvis Mazars operational systems and infrastructure.
Database Analyst
* Analysing, writing and executing SQL queries
* Familiarising with Practice Engine database schema to be able to provide support for the issues related to PE
* Managing task and activities on Practice Engine
* Managing other databases as needed
General
* Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT department.
Ideal Candidate
* Must have medium SQL knowledge
* Basic Windows knowledge
* Help Desk experience would be advantageous
* Must be customer service orientated
