Reporting to the CEO the Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all risk and compliance activities for Vianova. As our clients are regulated entities in the banking and financial services sector, the Risk & Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the organisation meets client contractual obligations and industry standards.

Risk & Compliance Framework

· Own and manage the end-to-end risk and compliance framework for Vianova.

· Own and maintain the organisation's risk register, ensuring that risks are clearly articulated,

assessed, mitigated and monitored.

· Ensure adherence to all compliance-related client contractual requirements, including critical

outsourcing obligations.

· Create and oversee a database of all Vianova policies and procedures, working in partnership with

various internal stakeholders and policy owners to ensure all documents are fit for purpose,

compliant with regulatory requirements and regularly reviewed and tested for effectiveness.

Governance

· Maintain clear documentation to demonstrate control effectiveness and compliance with client

expectations.

· Support internal and client-led audits, reviews, and assurance activities, ensuring effective

management of findings and remediation actions.

· Provide regular risk and compliance reporting to the Executive Committee, Managing

Director and COO.

· Sit as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Business Partnership

· Ensure engagement with internal stakeholders is conducted through a business partnership

approach, clearing explaining the need for information requests and risks associated,

while understanding that the priorities of the business may differ from own agenda.

· Partner with business leaders and operational teams to embed risk and compliance into day-to-day

decision-making.

· Provide practical, commercially balanced advice that supports business outcomes while meeting

client and governance expectations.

· Support business change initiatives, including new services, process improvements, and

technology changes, by assessing and managing associated risks.

Quality Oversight

· Lead two direct reports responsible for Quality and Operational Excellence.

· Ensure alignment between risk management, quality outcomes, and operational performance.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, reduce risk, and enhance

client confidence.

Business Growth

· Identify opportunities to enhance risk frameworks, controls, and reporting as the business evolves.

Identify, assess, and manage operational, client, financial, and reputational risks associated with

expansion, onboarding new clients, and introducing new services.

· Promote a strong risk-aware and quality-focused culture across the organisation.

· Experience in risk and compliance within financial services, payments, or outsourced services

to regulated entities.

· Professional qualification in compliance, risk or similar related field.

· Strong understanding of bank / financial services client risk expectations and audit requirements.

· Proven ability to build or scale risk frameworks in a growing organisation.

· Confident working with leadership teams and governance forums.

· People management experience.

· Strong influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to partner with different areas of the business.

· A growth-oriented mindset with strong commercial judgement.

· Comfortable operating in a scale-up environment with evolving processes.

· Confident communicator at executive and client level.

· Practical, solutions-focused approach to risk.
