The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, Southern Region is a major voluntary organisation, which provides age related residential, day and respite services for people with intellectual disabilities, autism and communication disorders throughout the Cork area.

Senior Behaviour Therapist
Ref: 18/2025
Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Location: Behaviour Support Services, Cork
The Role
As part of a Behaviour Support team, this Senior Behaviour Therapist role is to assist the development and implementation of Multi-Element Behaviour Support at an individual and organisational level.
The Candidate must have
* A relevant QQI level 8 or higher in a health services area (e.g Psychology, RNID Nursing, Occupational Therapy).
* A Level 9 Masters qualification in applied behaviour analysis.
* Five years’ experience of working with people with intellectual disability and behaviour support needs.
* A minimum of three years post qualification experience developing and implementing behaviour support plans preferably using the Multi-Element Behaviour Support model
* Experience in staff training
* Experience in working with families
* Registration with a relevant professional body in Ireland
* Possess a full clean driving licence, which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads with means of transport.
Salary Scale: €63,279 - €74,509 per annum (1/3/25 DOH Consolidated Scales)
Reporting to: Coordinator of the Behaviour Support Service
