Cybersecurity Advisory Specialist Location: Dublin Type: Full-Time | €60,000 - €75,000, A large international technology-focused organisation with a strong presence in Ireland is expanding its security consulting capability.
They're looking for someone who can work directly with customers on strengthening cyber maturity, reviewing response readiness, and advising on wider operational security improvements.
This role suits someone with solid hands-on security experience who now wants to blend technical understanding with stakeholder interaction and structured consulting work.
What You'll Be Doing Support clients in evaluating their cyber readiness, risk exposure, and operational security practices.
Help assess monitoring, response, and governance processes, identifying gaps and suggesting practical improvements.
Contribute to the creation of handbooks, playbooks, response plans, and security documentation.
Participate in workshops, discovery sessions, and technical conversations with customer teams.
Review threat activity, relevant regulations, and organisational posture to help guide recommendations.
Build strong relationships with customer teams, becoming a trusted advisor.
Work alongside senior consultants on more complex engagements and delivery projects.
What You Should Bring Approximately 2-4 years' experience in areas such as SOC operations, incident response, threat analysis, governance, risk management, or similar security functions.
Understanding of enterprise security controls, common attack patterns, and defensive processes.
Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Awareness of modern frameworks and regulations (examples: NIST, DORA, NIS2), though deep expertise isn't required.
Interest in consulting, advisory work, customer interaction, and structured cyber assessments.
Any exposure to cloud security or hybrid environments is a bonus.
