Role: Dangerous Goods Service Support Team Member

Location: DUBLIN, Ireland

To continue operating to our high standards, we are seeking a Dangerous Goods Service Support Team Member located within the Dublin area.

The Role

With personnel based in a variety of locations, our professionals work with clients to ensure compliance and safety in the area of Dangerous Goods Transportation. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the Dangerous Goods Services we provide to our clients in the Dublin area, and occasionally nationwide. You will deliver the most efficient solutions regarding the preparation of goods/materials for onward shipping through compliant packing, marking and labelling the goods and issuing the relevant paperwork prior to departure.

Following extensive training provided or facilitated by Trident Safety Group, the Dangerous Goods Service Support Team Member will be a vital resource to our clients.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

* Point of contact for advising clients in the specialist area of packaging requirements and solutions.
* Provide mobile and remote support and guidance on national, international regulatory and logistics compliance.
* Manage multiple requests and priorities based on lead time and urgency.
* Packing, marking and labelling Dangerous Goods and issuing paperwork both onsite at our clients and providing expertise remotely.

Required skills/experience

* 2+ years in logistics, operations, shipping, packing or warehousing.
* 2+ years experience with transportation of dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
* 2+ years experience preparation of goods/materials for onward shipping.
* 2+ years experience interacting with customers.
* Full driving license.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
* A proactive attitude toward customer service and performance.
* Excellent team player with solid communication skills and a can-do attitude.
* Fluent English both written and verbal, additional languages an advantage.
* Fork truck license a plus
