As an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist, you will lead the full EIA process, delivering EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale renewable energy projects. Your expertise in environmental planning will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policy.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the full EIA process, delivering EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale renewable energy projects
* Provide environmental planning expertise to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policy
* Keep updated on environmental legislation and planning developments at local and national level
* Support stakeholder engagement and consultations with local communities, statutory and non-statutory bodies
* Prepare technical scopes for third-party services and assist with procurement processes
* Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices across all projects
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous professional development within the team
You will collaborate with colleagues across Planning, Engineering and Senior Management to meet strategic business goals. To succeed in this role, you will require a Level 8 Honours Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline, as well as 5 years' plus relevant experience.
