Position: Buyer / Procurement Specialist

Are you a sharp negotiator with a strategic mindset? Want to play a vital role in delivering some of Ireland’s most ambitious civil engineering projects? ECC Group is expanding, and we're on the hunt for a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to join our high-performing team based in Dublin.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven continuous experience in Buying / Procurement within civil engineering or construction projects.
* Strong industry knowledge—either through formal 3rd level education or developed through hands-on trade or trainee roles transitioning into procurement.
* A proven, uninterrupted track record—we value consistency and depth of experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Placing orders for materials, plant, and equipment
* Managing on/off hires and creating purchase orders (subcontract and material)
* Liaising with site teams and depots to coordinate deliveries
* Sourcing new suppliers and managing vendor onboarding
* Negotiating best value deals and maintaining supplier relationships
* Supporting budget, invoice reconciliation, and procurement reporting
* Leading sustainable procurement initiatives
* Championing innovation by scouting new products and supply chain technologies
* Working closely with Project Managers and Technical teams to ensure timely project delivery

* Comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and ERP systems
