Salary: €75,000-€85,000, bonus and benefits Hybrid: 3 days week/onsite in Dublin 2 Interviews: 3 rounds, all virtual except final The Opportunity I'm recruiting for a highly-regarded tech consulting firm for a Solutions Engineer to sit at the intersection of technology, data, and business problem-solving.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions and working closely with both technical teams and senior stakeholders to make things land properly.
You'll play a key role in shaping how solutions are designed, validated, and delivered, acting as the technical bridge between product, engineering, and the wider business.
This is a hands-on role with real influence over solution architecture and delivery quality.
What You'll Be Doing Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into clear technical solution designs Designing end-to-end solutions across data, systems, and integrations, with a focus on scalability and maintainability Partnering closely with engineering teams to guide implementation and ensure solutions meet requirements Producing high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams Supporting delivery through testing phases, including validating solutions during UATIdentifying opportunities to standardise, optimise, and improve existing solutions and processes Acting as a trusted technical advisor, able to challenge requirements constructively and recommend better approaches What You'll Bring4+ years' experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar role Strong understanding of modern application, data, and integration architectures Comfortable discussing APIs, data flows, cloud platforms, and system design Experience gathering requirements and working in Agile environments Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences A structured, calm approach to problem-solving in fast-moving environments Nice to Have Experience working with cloud platforms and data platforms Exposure to BI, analytics, or data-driven solutions Background in regulated or enterprise environments Relevant technical certifications Why This Role You'll work on meaningful, complex problems, influence real technical decisions, and help shape solutions that are built to last Note: Unfortunately, my client is only considering candidates with an EU passport or Stamp 4/1 G Spousal work permits and who are based in Ireland at this time
