Assistant Management Accountant (Maternity Cover Up to 12 months)
Vickerstock are partnering with a global leading manufacturing company to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide support to the EPS Ireland Finance Manager in all aspects of finance and sales reporting.
Responsibilities
* Account Receivable and Credit Control: Responsible for weekly, monthly, and annual accounts receivable and credit control function.
* Bank Reconciliations: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
* Sales Reporting: Prepare Weekly Sales and Order Intake uploads in Comshare, perform monthly sales & cost of sales reconciliation, and support analysis.
* Sales Rebate Accruals: Maintain Sales Rebate accruals and payments to customers.
* Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare full balance sheet reconciliation file on a monthly basis.
* VAT Returns: Prepare VAT returns across several jurisdictions.
* Intrastat VIES and CSO Returns: Prepare Monthly Intrastat VIES and CSO returns.
* Cash Flow Forecast: Prepare weekly cash flow forecast for upload to Comshare.
* Management Pack: Prepare and collate slides for the monthly management pack.
* Debtor Confirmations: Perform debtor confirmations twice a year in compliance with Group accounting manual.
* Credit Limit Applications: Complete Credit Limit Applications for review by finance manager.
Requirements
* Experience: Experience working within a similar role.
* Qualifications: ATI qualification, part-qualified accountant or similar would be beneficial.
* Software Skills: Experienced in the use of SAP.
