Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking an Electrical Facilities Technician for a pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract. Responsibilities Manage and maintain power distribution, lighting, emergency generators, and process gas delivery systems. Oversee wastewater treatment plant operations, ensuring environmental compliance and efficiency. Maintain solar systems, life safety (fire & gas), sprinkler, and low-pressure hot water systems. Conduct routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical assets (switchgears, transformers, distribution panels). Work closely with engineering and site teams on projects and upgrades. Diagnose and repair electrical issues to minimise downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, compliance, and system performance. Ensure all activities meet safety and GMP standards, including LOTOTO procedures. Requirements Trade qualification or Electrical Engineering qualification. Minimum of 10 years experience in facilities/utilities management within GMP or regulated environments. Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, safety standards, and GMP requirements. Experience with electrical systems such as alarm management, emergency power, and UPS systems. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex electrical issues. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Why Join Arcadis?
