Accounts Assistant
Our client a leading educational body are hiring an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is initially being offered on a contract basis and is to start asap.
Key Duties
* Prepare journal adjustments and assist with financial reporting
* Reconcile bank accounts and check project budgets
* Maintain and archive project account files
* Issue research invoices in line with funder requirements
* Assist with audit preparation and documentation
* Allocate income correctly to research accounts
* Handle queries from researchers and office visitors
* Generate supplier orders using electronic procurement
Requirements
* 1–2 years 'Finance experience
* Strong organisational, communication, and numerical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,
