We have a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join us and lead the development and scale of our Hydrogen Education Programme.
Role: Hydrogen Programme Coordinator Location: We have flexible and remote working options.
Contract: Full Time Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator will lead the activation and scale of Kinia's Hydrogen Education Programme across Ireland.
This initiative supports schools and youth services in delivering engaging, project-based learning experiences focused on hydrogen energy technology, STEM education, and sustainability.
The role involves coordinating regional clusters, engaging educators, delivering training, and managing programme events, including the H2GP competitions.
Requirements Programme Implementation Coordination: Lead the activation of the Hydrogen Education programme in schools and youth services across multiple regional clusters.
Support the Education Team as required with knowledge, skills and confidence and lead training where required.
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring all aspects of the programme run smoothly.
Oversee the distribution of educational materials, equipment, and resources required for the programme.
Work closely with local partners, research institutions, and industry stakeholders to enhance programme reach and impact.
Stakeholder Engagement Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with schools, educators, youth services, industry partners, and funding bodies to drive programme success.
Coordinate with third-level institutions and research centres to provide expert guidance for participating students.
Support community engagement efforts to promote STEM education and renewable energy awareness.
Event Management Competitions: Organise and oversee regional qualification events for the H2GP Sprint and H2GP Pro competitions.
Support the coordination of the Irish National H2GP Pro Final and facilitate the winning team's participation in the World Finals.
Ensure event logistics, student participation, and educator involvement are effectively managed.
Qualifications and Experience: 3rd Level qualification (Education, Technical or Scientific).
Evidence of successful project management and implementation.
Experience in event management and coordination.
Commitment to education, social impact and equal opportunity.
Skills and Competencies: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience in event coordination.
Passion for Education, in particular STEM education, renewable energy, and sustainability.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and external partners.
Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills in a dynamic project environment.
Desirable Skills Experience Kinia is a bi-lingual organisation.
Preference will be given to candidates fluent in the Irish language.
Experience working with schools, youth programmes, or co mmunity-based initiatives.
Experience of multiple stakeholder engagement.
Additional Information A full, clean driver's license is required.
