Inside Sales Representative

We are looking to expand our sales office team in Inchicore, Dublin 8 to help the forecasted growth in sales as we expand further into the national market. The role entails providing sales and customer service to our long-established customer base in Ireland and following new leads working in conjunction with the external sales team. A full induction & product training program will allow the successful candidate to excel in the role.
Responsibilities:
· Processing telephone, email and website enquiries from customers and trade professionals.
· Generate and process sales quotations, sales orders and invoices in SAP for our existing customers and new customers.
· Request quotes and generate purchase orders for goods required from suppliers.
· Issue new suppliers/customers with relevant new account forms for completion.
· Ensure sales ledger close off at month end.
· Process purchase invoices and resolve any queries.
· Outbound telephone sales: promoting existing and new products.
· Internal sales support to company sales reps.
· Provide product and after sales support to customers.
· Various office administration.
· Liaise with finance team.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as they arise.
Requirements:
· Ability to work on own initiative and make informed decisions.
· Excellent organisational ability with strong attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
· Experience in SAP Software a distinct advantage.
· Strong administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel etc.
· Desire to learn about our products and systems.
· Professional telephone manner when dealing with customers.
· Fluent in written and spoken English
Education:
· Leaving Certificate
Experience:
· SAP knowledge would be a benefit.
· Microsoft Office Suite knowledge essential
· 1 year sales experience in engineering or related industry

Pay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
