City Pharmacy, an independent and fully Irish-owned pharmacy is looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Assistant with excellent conditions to join our team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial operations and assisting with the overall operations of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for numbers, exceptional organizational skills, and teamwork.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Responsible for monthly customer invoicing and liaising with customers.
* Reconciliation of payments to customer files.
* Data processing.
* Supplier statement reconciliation.
* Support the general ledger function.
* Answer phone calls and queries in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policy and procedures.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Education & Experience required:
* Minimum 2 years of previous accounts experience within a professional environment.
* A degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field is preferred.
* Knowledge of the Pharmacy industry in Ireland is desirable.
* Experience with Xero is a distinct advantage.
* Must be proficient in Excel, with intermediate/advanced skills a significant advantage.
* Bright, hard-working, and takes pride in their work.
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Working to strict deadlines.
Salary is Negotiable depending on experience.
