Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn? The L&G Dublin Distribution internship is an 8‑week programme, running from June to August. During this time you’ll develop your skills, gain valuable insights, and get hands‑on work experience.
What you might work on
Kick off with an induction in London to introduce you to L&G and prepare for an exciting internship
Engage with different teams and gain insights from various departments
Learn from senior speakers
Network with fellow interns and build lasting connections
You will be assigned to one of our Dublin Distribution teams for your 8‑week placement. Some of the day‑to‑day activities you may experience include:
Gaining an understanding of the various Distribution client relationships
Learning about our sales strategies and product offerings
Experiencing how we build and manage client and stakeholder relationships
Assisting in query management and the preparation of presentation and pitch material
Collaborating with other internal departments and teams
Having guidance from your team and manager who will support you and teach you the day‑to‑day role
Being part of a big team and developing your collaboration skills
Having the opportunity to meet and network with new colleagues within your team and across the wider organisation

Qualifications
We’re seeking penultimate‑year undergraduates with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. No prior industry experience is required, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly.
On track for a 2.1 degree in any subject – we are open to all subject backgrounds
In your penultimate year at university (i.e. graduating in 2027)
Analytical mind‑set
Great communication skills
Flexible and a team‑player
High levels of energy, dynamism and commitment
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
