Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Liability Claims Handler to join our team, supporting claims across various sectors. This is a dynamic role where your expertise will be instrumental in handling liability claims including employers', public, product, and motor.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial liability claims handling, strong understanding of employers', public, product, and motor liability, and excellent communication, negotiation, and investigative skills.
* Investigate and report on liability claims across various sectors.
* Gather and assess evidence to support conclusions and recommendations.
* Maintain service standards and ensure compliance with protocols.
* Collaborate with team members and operate independently when required.
* Contribute to service innovation and process improvement.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A proven track record in commercial liability claims handling (external adjusting experience is highly desirable).
* A strong understanding of employers', public, product, and motor liability.
* Industry qualifications in insurance or loss adjusting preferred.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and investigative skills.
* Highly organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
* Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with relevant claims systems.
* A full driving license is required.
