Our client are seeking a skilled Electrical Site Manager to join the team in Limerick. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the work of electricians and technicians, ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects within specified deadlines and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate site-based electricians and technicians.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
Allocate tasks and resources to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support for complex installations.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Resolve technical issues raised by the team in a timely manner.
Mentor and train junior electricians and apprentices.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for materials and equipment.
Participate in meetings to review plans, progress, and objectives.
Qualifications
Trade qualified electrician.
Proven experience as an electrician, foreman, or supervisor.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Leadership skills with clear communication and interpersonal ability.
Confident in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Skilled in electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
Problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
