Are you passionate about building communities, creating meaningful connections and helping people make a positive impact?We're partnering with a leading national charity to recruit a Community & Volunteer Coordinator.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and supporting a nationwide volunteer community, helping to drive engagement, participation and impact across Ireland.This role would suit someone with experience in community engagement, volunteer coordination, stakeholder management, events, membership organisations or the wider charity sector who enjoys working with people and building strong relationships.The RoleAs Community & Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, engaging and supporting volunteers across Ireland. You will work closely with internal teams, community groups and volunteers to ensure a positive and rewarding volunteer experience while helping to shape and develop future volunteer initiatives.You'll play an important role in strengthening community engagement, growing volunteer participation and ensuring volunteers feel supported, recognised and connected to the organisation's mission. You'll also help develop new volunteer programmes, improve processes and support volunteer involvement across fundraising events and community initiatives nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, interview, onboard and train new volunteersDevelop relationships with community groups, volunteer organisations and external partnersCoordinate volunteer involvement across events, projects and community activitiesSupport the development and implementation of volunteer and community engagement strategiesManage volunteer communications, engagement, recognition and development programmesMaintain volunteer records, compliance processes and reportingUtilise Salesforce and other systems to manage volunteer data and reportingWork closely with multiple departments to support organisational objectives and volunteer programmesAbout YouExperience in volunteer coordination, community engagement, membership organisations, events, stakeholder engagement or a similar people-focused roleStrong relationship-building and communication skillsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExperience using Salesforce or a similar CRM systemA proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approachPassionate about community impact and creating positive volunteer experiencesExperience coordinating projects, programmes or cross-functional initiatives would be advantageousFull clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essentialWillingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland, including occasional evening and weekend commitments
