Role Overview
The successful candidate will support a MIFID firm and Management Company in Ireland, focusing on legal, compliance, and designated person support related to the distribution of exchange traded products and maintaining the European UCITS ETF platforms. This role is suitable for a proactive, commercial individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Update policies and procedures according to Irish regulatory guidance and board requirements.
2. Compile monthly compliance reports and support designated persons.
3. Review reporting, ancillary agreements, marketing materials, and liaise with external counsel as needed.
4. Support compliance and regulatory functions for European and UK platforms, including review and update of fund documentation.
5. Assist with risk management, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
6. Support the Head of Compliance with European regulation analysis, meetings, and compliance monitoring.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified lawyer or experienced paralegal with 1-4 years in asset management or fund management, with a focus on compliance or legal matters.
* Experience in product development is desirable.
* Strong project management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently within a small team and handle multiple priorities.
* Excellent academic record and high integrity.
