Insight Global are seeking an Account Manager to join one of their largest manufacturing clients for a full-time role, based fully remote in Ireland.
Please note, while this role is remote in Ireland, this position will require frequent travel to client sites, with car mileage expensed.
Day-to-Day Overview
This role is a vital addition to the Sales team to help support the future growth strategy of the UK & Ireland Sales Company by managing both existing clients and new business opportunities with a focus on the hydraulic industry - mobile systems, electrification, and Hydrogen technologies. Regularly visiting clients onsite across Ireland to understand their needs, pipelines, and find new business opportunities. You will identify future potential opportunities and clients by cold calling, using your network, and industry knowledge.
Must Have Requirements
* Previous experience in an engineering or sales role within an engineering environment
* Strong knowledge in hydraulics or electrification
* Proven experience in cold calling, networking, or hunting for new business
* Familiarity with CRM platforms and MS Office applications
* Comfortable managing multiple accounts and building a healthy sales pipeline
* Willingness to travel to clients across Ireland, typically twice per week, and attend quarterly UK meetings
* Clean driver's license
* Engineering background (degree or equivalent further education)

* Experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools
