Support for people with Intellectual Disabilities in Castlerea. Duties include: Supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities with the activities of daily living. Promoting higher levels of independence; Encourage their full participation in the community. You will be mentored & guided during your time on CE to ensure that you get the qualifications, the networking opportunities & relevant experience necessary to gain full time employment.
Skills Required
You must have a kind, patient nature and be able to work with vulnerable people.
An understanding of confidentiality is essential.
Flexibility in work & hours.
A full clean manual driving licence is essential to progress your career as a Support Worker.
Good communication skills & ability to work with others.
Must be willing to partake in QQI accredited Healthcare training.
Garda vetting and/or international police clearance is required for this post.
