\u003Cb\u003EPosition Summary\u003C/b\u003EThe Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring and testing products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and consistency across production and fabrication lines.ResponsibilitiesPerform quality inspections and testing of products during various stages of electrical work like electrical cable tray installation, electrical & signal cable installation, lighting and small power installation, grounding & bonding installationDocument inspection results and maintain detailed quality recordsIdentify and report quality defects and non-conformancesConduct incoming inspectionCalibrate and maintain testing equipmentSupport continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with production teams to resolve quality issuesOther responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as neededQualificationsMinimum Job Qualifications2 years of experience in the positionEnglish 90%Preferred QualificationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with measurement tools and testing equipmentKnowledge of quality control methodologiesExperience with Switchgear, UPS, CRAC units, STS, or busbar systems is a plusPositive mindsetAutonomy and proactivityAbility to complete tasks in timely mannerBasic computer skills including email, collaboration tools, Excel, Word, and file managementPhysical & Environmental DemandsFrequent Standing and moving within manufacturing environmentWorking in a manufacturing environment around machinery and equipmentProtective Equipment Required (safety shoes, eyewear, earplugs, gloves, etc. where required)Time Travel RequiredNo travel requiredWork AuthorizationNo calls or agencies please.
