You will have the opportunity to expand your career both technically and commercially while working across multiple sectors as a valued member of a dynamic team.RoleWe are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to work on-site with one of our clients — a global leader in developing and manufacturing biologic medicines, supporting both pharmaceutical and biotech companies from early research to large-scale commercial production.This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday, for 6 months, based in Dundalk.Requirements3–4 years of hands-on IT support experience (L1/L2 environment)Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with common enterprise toolsExperience supporting hardware, printers, and mobile devicesBasic understanding of networking conceptsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksExperience in a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry is a strong plusFamiliarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)Experience with device-management tools (Intune, SCCM)Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheralsTroubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and account/permission issuesConfigure, install, and maintain end-user devices and standard applicationsManage tickets, document resolutions, and meet SLA requirementsMaintain asset inventory and ensure device complianceFollow company security, compliance, and change-management procedures(If pharma environment): Work according to GxP guidelines and follow required validation/documentation standards
