Community Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independent lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strong relationships with service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Support the development and implementation of person-centred plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each individual are met.
* Establish and maintain effective partnerships with community groups, fostering active citizenship and social inclusion.
* Provide transportation services for service users, facilitating access to community resources and opportunities.
* Perform key worker duties, including administration, advocacy, and coordination of services.
Requirements:
* A relevant QQI qualification at minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or a related field.
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A full clean manual driving license, with access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
* An excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
