The role of Senior Maintenance Technician is a key position in our production process, responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, ensuring calibration and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
\
* Develop and implement planned maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure all plant and equipment is in calibration at all times and maintained in optimum condition.
* Ensure jigs, fixtures, tooling, and equipment are installed and maintained in a manner that ensures the safety of personnel and in particular that safety guards and features are in full working order.
* Provide a rapid response and troubleshooting service to manufacturing and technical teams covering breakdowns and other processing problems/improvements.
* Collaborate with tooling, equipment, and production or maintenance service suppliers and contractors to identify and purchase requirements.
* Install and commission new equipment, working with technical and manufacturing staff to ensure new equipment introductions, validations, and changes are effectively documented in accordance with quality standards.

Requirements
\
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a maintenance environment, including at least 2 years' medical device/pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics manufacturing experience.
* Completion of a craft apprenticeship.
* Experience in PLC Logic programming and wiring would be beneficial.
