We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Shift) to join our client who is a leading food manufacturer in Co. Monaghan.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge automated equipment in a dynamic production setting.
Shift Pattern: Shifts rotate between mornings, afternoons and evenings, e.g.
6am-2.30pm/ 2pm-10pm / 3pm - 11pm.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
Benefits:Yearly bonus, Pension, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discounts, On-Site Parking Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated production equipment.
Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and use test equipment to diagnose faults.
Analyse and resolve issues in complex control systems integrated with databases.
Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Support process improvements and participate in essential documentation creation.
Perform machine changeovers and ensure compliance with Food Safety, GMP, and ISO standards.
Key Requirements: Qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical disciplines.
Strong experience in automated production environments.
Excellent mechanical maintenance and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical panel faults.
Experience with PLC programming is a significant advantage.
Proficient with IT systems such as tablets, SCADA, and MS Office.
Team player who thrives under pressure and maintains high safety standards.
