This role is for a skilled Nurse to support the delivery of high-quality care and services to children with complex needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to maximize benefits for the children.
Key Responsibilities:

* To provide clinical nursing skills in supporting children with complex needs, maintaining the highest quality of nursing practice, and addressing developmental, learning, physical, social and emotional needs at all times.

* Act as an informed resource for educating and supporting care assistants and family members.
">
* Work effectively with families to achieve best outcomes.
">
Requirements:
">
">
* A current Live Register Certificate from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
">
* An RNID qualification is highly desirable.
">
* Minimum of six months experience working with children with an Intellectual Disability.
">
* Fluency in verbal and written English is essential.
">
* Basic IT skills are desirable.
">
Working Arrangements:
">
">
* 75 hours per fortnight on a 7-day/night duty roster.
">
* Includes days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, night duty and sleep-ins to meet service needs.
">
Benefits:

* Department of Health salary scales apply.

* Long Service Increment after 3 years on maximum of scale.

* Additional payments apply for weekends, public holidays, and sleep-ins/night duties.

* Location allowance paid where 75% of persons supported have a diagnosis of severe/profound intellectual disability.
