AuxiliaGroup Recruitment are currently hiring a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our client, an established company within the food industry. This is a permanent opportunity based in Co. Kildare.
Job Role:
* Lead the development and execution of the supply chain across goods-in, planning, warehousing, and distribution.
* Drive demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimisation to ensure product availability while minimising excess and obsolescence.
* Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, Operations & production teams to align supply chain activities with commercial goals.
* Support and manage key supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and service performance.
* Monitor KPIs and supply chain metrics (forecast accuracy etc.) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Optimise logistics and transportation networks to reduce costs and improve delivery lead times and on-time delivery.
* Manage the Supply Chain team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Job Requirements:
* Educational Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferably Degree level.
* 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles within the FMCG industry.
* Proven track record of managing supply chains across multiple sites.
* An understanding of manufacturing would be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of S&OP processes, ERP systems, and supply chain planning tools.
* People management experience.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, cross functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills required with experience in managing cross functional stakeholder relationships.
