Treasurer Treasurer for the board of directors for Think Bodywhys CLG Treasurer Bodywhys is seeking a Treasurer to join our Board and help strengthen our financial governance and long-term sustainability.
Bodywhys is the national voluntary organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders.
Our mission is to ensure support, awareness and understanding of eating disorders amongst the wider community as well as advocating for the rights and healthcare needs of people affected by eating disorders.
The Role This is a voluntary, non-executive Board role .
The Treasurer plays a key role in supporting Bodywhys to maintain transparent and well managed finances that are aligned with best practice for a charity organisation.The Bodywhys Board meets approximately 6 times per year (inclusive of AGM) with meetings a mix of face to face and online.The Bodywhys finance committee meets approximately 6 times a year either on line or in person.The finance committee meetings take place in advance of the Board meetings.
