The Role:
As the Group Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be the commercial engine of the group. You will have full ownership of both the sales and marketing functions, creating a seamless strategy where proactive sales efforts are powered by innovative marketing campaigns. You will lead from the front, setting ambitious targets, mentoring teams, and building key client relationships while also shaping our brand for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the overarching commercial strategy for the group, integrating sales, marketing, and revenue management to exceed targets.
* Sales Management:
Lead all sales activities across MICE, corporate, and leisure segments. Set KPIs, manage the sales pipeline, and personally drive key account acquisition and management.
* Marketing & Brand:
Oversee the creation and implementation of a multi-channel marketing plan to drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and boost direct bookings. Act as the brand guardian, steering the portfolio through potential future branding projects.
* Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the on-property sales and marketing talent, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture.
* Financial Acumen:
Develop and manage the group sales and marketing budget, ensuring all activities are commercially viable with a clear and measurable ROI.
* Market Opportunity:
With an opportunistic eye, continuously analyse market trends, competitor activity, and new revenue streams to ensure the group maintains a competitive edge.
* Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with General Managers and the senior leadership team, presenting commercial strategies and performance reports with clarity and confidence.
About You:

Essential Experience & Skills:
* Significant senior-level experience in a combined Sales and Marketing leadership role within a multi-site hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
* A proven and demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue and sales targets in a competitive market.
* You are a charismatic leader with a big personality, capable of influencing stakeholders and building lasting relationships at all levels.
* Expertise in developing and executing both proactive sales strategies and data-driven digital marketing campaigns.
* Strong financial literacy with experience managing substantial budgets and P&L responsibility.
* An instinct for opportunity – you are commercially relentless and creative in your approach to driving business.
* A full driving licence and the willingness to travel frequently to properties and clients are a must.
