We are seeking a dedicated Senior Medical Physicist to join our expert team on a 1 year fixed-term basis.
In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our radiotherapy physics service, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in treatment delivery and seamless continuity of patient care.
Our Technology Services Our Dublin department is a hub of advanced clinical technology, featuring: Linear Accelerators: 2 Varian TrueBeams (including a recent upgrade to Brainlab ExacTrac Dynamic).
Software Suites: Eclipse/Aria for external beam; Eclipse and Elements for SRS/SBRT.
Specialized Treatments: A comprehensive Brachytherapy service including HDR (Gynae, Prostate, and Surface) and LDR (Prostate).
Network Reach: Collaborative access to our Mid-Western Radiation Oncology Centre, utilizing a fleet of 4 Varian linacs (3 TrueBeam, 1 Halcyon) and cloud-based Aria/Eclipse systems.
Requirements We are looking for a highly skilled professional who meets the following criteria: Education: MSc or PhD in Medical Physics.
Registration: Must be registered (or eligible for immediate registration) as a Medical Physics Expert (MPE).
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of documented clinical experience in Radiotherapy.
Advantageous: Completion of an accredited training scheme.
Note: Priority will be given to candidates with specific experience in SRS, SBRT, and LDR/HDR Brachytherapy.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum senior requirements may be considered for a junior-level position.
