Background:
Mezzino Student Living is a privately-owned student accommodation provider with many properties under management across the Ireland and the UK.
During the academic year our accommodation will be occupied by students attending various nearby Colleges and Universities. Over the Summer months our accommodation will operate as a quality hospitality business providing overnight accommodation for holiday makers, leisure guests, long stay student residents, attendees at University conferences and tour groups.
Copley Court is currently recruiting a Facilities & Cleaning Assistant to support their team for Summer.
Main responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager and Property Manager, the Facilities Assistant will be responsible for the general day to day upkeep of the complex
Duties will include:
* Taking responsibility for ensuring that the complex is exceptionally well-maintained and well-presented at all times
* Complete both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
* Ensure communal areas and and all public areas are up to standard
* Ensure that the bin stores are tidy and that the bins are rotated regularly
* Ensure that a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors is maintained;
* Ensuring that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner
The ideal candidate will have:
· At least 1 years' previous experience in a similar role
· Previous experience of working in a standards-driven environment.
· Intermediate MS Office skills to include Word and Excel.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills..
· Basic knowledge of maintenance trade would be essential.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: €14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
