About the Role

Shorla Oncology now has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our growing team. This position will afford exposure to a broad range of cross-functional project and operational responsibilities, supporting our expanding oncology portfolio and product pipeline. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of Operations.

You will play a lead role in coordinating strategic projects, technology transfers and cross-departmental initiatives, while supporting the company’s operational infrastructure and execution across both internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Lead the day-to-day coordination and management of cross-functional projects across Shorla’s product portfolio.
* Drive operational execution for new product introductions, technology transfers, and key strategic initiatives.
* Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are defined, tracked, and achieved.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of operations-related activities.
* Monitor project risk and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
* Support internal reporting of project progress and provide visibility to executive stakeholders.
* Facilitate alignment across departments (e.g., Regulatory, QA, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure integrated project delivery.
* Support budgeting and resource planning in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the Operations team.
* Maintain documentation aligned with GXP and internal standards (SOPs, reports, plans, etc.).
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and project execution across the organisation.
* Represent the Operations function in cross-functional meetings and external discussions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing timelines, and working with internal teams and external partners is essential. Clear communication, good organisation, and a practical, collaborative approach will be important in this role. A focus on quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement will help you thrive in this fast-paced and growing environment.

You will:

* Hold a BA or BS honours degree in a science or business-related field; a postgraduate qualification in project or operations management is a plus.
* Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on operations, project management, or technical roles.
* Be familiar with GMP, GDP, and global regulatory environments (EU and US).
* Have experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects in fast-paced settings.
* Communicate clearly and work well with colleagues and external partners.
* Be well organised and able to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
* Have strong oral and written English skills and be confident preparing reports and updates.
* Be comfortable working in a growing or evolving organisation, with a flexible and hands-on mindset.
* Be eligible to hold a role in the pharmaceutical sector.
* Be confident using project management tools and standard software applications.
* Be willing to take on additional duties as needed and support wider team activities.
* Follow company policies on health, safety, and data protection.
* Be open to travel based on project or business needs.
* Commit to completing all required training and ongoing professional development.

You’ll enjoy working on meaningful projects that support Shorla Oncology’s mission, and contributing to a collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team.

If you have the experience and skills outlined above and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing, mission-driven company, we would love to hear from you.
