Job Description
Applications are invited for a permanent part-time position as Senior Speech and Language Therapist. A panel will be formed from which other permanent or temporary posts may be filled.
Role Purpose
The Senior Speech and Language Therapist will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
The Senior Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention, involving the FEDs service and contributing to ongoing service delivery to children with complex needs and their families.
The Senior Speech and Language Therapist will take a lead role in key areas of service development, reporting to the CDNT manager.
Professional clinical supervision will be provided.
The ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload and work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family-centered practice approach are also key requirements of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
* Practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech and Language Therapy Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
* Have 3 years full-time (or an aggregate of 3 years full-time) post-qualification clinical experience.

Benefits
Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales.
Salary scale is Senior Speech and Language Therapist €63,279-€74,509 per annum incl LSI per annum pro-rata.
