Therapy Manager - Physiotherapy

East Limerick Children's Services, Limerick
12 months
Salary:
Subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work
Requirements / Qualifications
Professional Physiotherapy Qualification from a recognized third level institution
Current registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in physiotherapy work with significant paediatric/children's disability experience
Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
Strong working knowledge of children's disability services in Ireland
Experience working within Children's Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models
Experience of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team working
Full Drivers Licence and use of own car
Permit to work in Ireland
Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
Experience in providing Clinical Supervision
Proficiency in the English language
Postgraduate qualification in management, leadership
Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to children's disability services
Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
Applicants should possess Level 3 Behavioural Competencies of Avista competency framework
