Position: Manufacturing Engineer II
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and implement permanent solutions to manufacturing issues using a structured problem-solving approach, documenting and sharing knowledge effectively.
2. Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives by applying Lean/Six Sigma principles.
3. Operate within a highly regulated environment, ensuring product quality through GMP, NCR, CAPA, and other quality system processes.
4. Enhance production flow to meet quality standards, ensuring product specifications and inspection standards are maintained.
5. Lead teams in validation activities.
6. Analyze and implement operational improvements using OEE metrics such as Yield, Uptime, and Performance to increase process capability, capacity, and stability.
7. Design mechanical jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing requirements, optimize changeover times, and facilitate maintenance.
8. Assess new equipment, processes, and chemicals for environmental impact in collaboration with EHS.
9. Adhere to plant safety and health regulations, taking responsibility for safety aspects within your control, and be aware of environmental impacts.
Qualifications
1. Extensive knowledge and experience with validation techniques (IQ/OQ/PQ), regulatory requirements, and statistical data analysis.
2. Motivated, flexible, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
3. Ability to manage complex technical projects under strict deadlines using Project Management tools (e.g., PMBOK).
4. Proven team leadership skills, capable of promoting cross-functional teamwork and mentoring technicians.
5. Hold an NFQ Level 8 qualification in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Biomedical) with at least four years of relevant industry experience.
6. Project Management and Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
7. Experience in Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, and Project Management is highly desirable.
