We are opening a brand-new, high-quality cafe and drive-thru as the culinary centrepiece of an exciting new integrated Health & Wellness complex (including a health centre, pharmacy, and doctors' offices).
We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Chef / Chef de Partie
to be instrumental in launching our kitchen and delivering a menu focused on fresh, high-quality, and appealing food.
The Role:
Working closely with the Cafe Manager and Operations Manager, you will be the heart of our kitchen operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Food Preparation & Cooking: Preparing, cooking, and plating all items on the menu (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and baked goods) to consistently high standards for both in-house dining and drive-thru customers.
Quality & Consistency: Ensuring every dish meets our strict quality, presentation, and portion control guidelines.
HACCP & Hygiene: Upholding the highest standards of HACCP (food safety) compliance and kitchen hygiene at all times.
Stock Management: Assisting with stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimising waste to help control food costs.
Daily Prep: Taking ownership of daily mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient service, particularly during peak drive-thru times.
Menu Input: Collaborating on menu development, suggesting seasonal specials, and helping to cater to a customer base that values both speed and healthy options.
Equipment Care: Maintaining all kitchen equipment and promptly reporting any maintenance issues.

The ideal candidate is a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent food.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or experienced Chef within a busy commercial kitchen or cafe environment.
Up-to-date HACCP training and a thorough understanding of food safety regulations.
Experience in high-volume service, ideally including fast service or drive-thru operations.
A genuine passion for food quality and consistency.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a small,
dynamic team.
A flexible attitude to working hours, which will include early mornings and potentially some weekends.
