In addition to general contracting, the company operates a specialist civil engineering division providing services to clients in the public and private sector.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning and control across a variety of construction projects.
This is a great opportunity to work on diverse and technically interesting projects while contributing to the financial success and operational efficiency of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering
Monitor project financial performance and prepare reports
Manage procurement and assess subcontractor quotations
Administer contracts and handle variations and claims
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Support project delivery across multiple sectors and locations
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Excel)
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
