About the role
Manufacturing Support Scientist/Engineer, reporting to the Associate Director for new product introduction within the Manufacturing group. The role is a key contributor and part of the team for sustainable biologics manufacturing capacity.
Responsibilities
Drive cross‑functional collaboration in process improvements and new product start‑ups
Spearhead risk assessments and product changeover protocols
Champion process technology transfer and optimisation
Lead the charge in implementing a “Right‑First Time” culture
Own and drive change controls, CAPAs, investigations, and improvement projects
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years experience with upstream and downstream GMP biologics manufacturing equipment and process automation
Experience with NP and tech‑transfer an advantage
Proficiency in systems such as Delta V, MES Syncade, and SAP
Strong problem‑solving abilities and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in lean manufacturing principles
