I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the logistics and supply chain sector who is seeking an experiencedCustoms Clearance Specialistto join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a customs professional with strong import/export experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and customer service.The RoleReporting to the Customs Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant customs clearance operations while supporting both internal teams and external customers.Key Responsibilities include:Delivering an efficient and compliant customs clearance service in line with Revenue requirements and internal standardsPreparing and issuing daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and reports for assigned customersMaintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all customs-related transactionsEnsuring all data submitted to Revenue is accurate and fully compliantLiaising daily with operations teams to ensure smooth clearance processesManaging and resolving customs queries within agreed timelinesSupporting new tasks and initiatives aligned with business developmentEffectively closing out company issues within required deadlinesSkills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years' experience in an Import/Export or Customs Clerk roleStrong hands-on experience with import and export customs clearancesExperience creating and discharging T1 documentsSolid understanding of commodity classificationMinimum 2 years' experience using Thyme IT software (essential)Experience with Customs Force / Customs Ware applications is desirableBackground in a similar industry is an advantageExcellent PC literacy and strong administrative skillsBy applying to this job, your CV will be assessed by a consultant from for the position described and your CV may be added to our secure applicant tracking system however your details will never be shared to any other third party without your consent.
