Staff Nurse - Respite Services
Contract: Permanent Contract
Hours: 20 hours per week (worked over 7 days, including evenings, weekends & waking nights)
Salary: €35,460 - €53,028 (FTE) Actual salary will be pro rata based on 20 hours per week, excluding premiums for evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

Dublin.
The Role
Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities
Support individuals to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence
Assist individuals to access appropriate healthcare services and liaise with primary care teams (e.g. GP, Public Health Nurse, hospital services)
Promote independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary respite team
Ensure services are delivered in line with HIQA Standards and organisational values
Requirements
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (essential)
Third level qualification in Nursing
Experience working in disability services or residential settings (desirable)Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)
Knowledge of HIQA Standards
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
