We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager to join our team and oversee the external / civil works on one of our large construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large pharma / data centre / industrial projects and possess excellent organisation and time management skills.
About the Job:
The Site Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the client's expectations are met by delivering a quality product to the end user while fostering professional and amicable relations with design teams and client representatives. This includes maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, quality and client service, ensuring that contracts are completed safely, per programme, on budget and snag free.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely delivery of projects
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors
* Plan, co-ordinate, execute the works and deliver the project as per contract documents
* Maintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and supply chain
* Resource and schedule work in line with the project construction program
* Work closely with the project QS, advising on any upcoming issues
* Must have experience in either a trade or technical background
* Experience working with a top 20 main contractor
* A track record of delivering multi-million projects that demand an exceptionally high quality of finish
* Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential
* A good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation is needed
* Stable employment history (permanent or long-term contract)
* Experience drawing up reports in relation to progress and resolving any issues that may occur

Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
* Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role
